Join us for a pet-friendly hike day at the Bears Ears Education Center! If you have a dog companion, Paw-N-Teer Day is a great opportunity to learn more about how to hike respectfully with your furry friend in and around Bears Ears National Monument. Learn about how to follow Visit With Respect guidelines with your dog, and by the end of the day, you can receive a BARK Ranger Certification signed by BEP Staff. Please only well-behaved dogs for the safety of other furry friends and visitors/volunteers. We'll cap this event at 10 attendees, so reserve your spot today!

Bears Ears Archaeology Teacher Workshop

3rd–8th grade teachers can apply by May 13 to join this FREE Bears Ears Archaeology Teacher Workshop, hosted at the BEEC June 11-13. 

Discover new ways to engage students with the past through hands-on scientific inquiry and knowledge shared by Indigenous community members. Teachers receive a $100 stipend.
