May 7 Star Party

Join us for BEP's next Star Party with Telescope Viewing, Thursday, May 7 at 9pm at Goosenecks State Park (Mexican Hat, Utah). Hosted in partnership with Utah State Parks.

Enjoy the stunning night sky at Goosenecks State Park, a certified International Dark Sky Park, designated in 2021. 

All experience levels welcome. We will provide several telescopes for you to use, and you are welcome to bring your own. BEP staff will share stargazing tips and point out celestial features. Please bring a red light and chair or blanket for sitting.

BEP is hosting monthly star parties around each New Moon, in addition to other Dark Sky programming. Save the date for June 11 at Bluff Community Center, August 13 at Bluff Community Center, September 10 at Edge of the Cedars State Park, October 8 at Canyon Country Discovery Center, November 13-14 for the Bluff Dark Sky Festival, and December 10 at Bluff Community Center.
