Education

Bears Ears Partnership believes that education is the key to helping visitors appreciate and protect the natural and cultural landscapes of the Bears Ears region.

The Bears Ears Education Center (BEEC) is a largely volunteer-run center in Bluff, Utah providing visitor information, tips on where to go, and materials to help you enjoy your time in the Bears Ears region. THE BEEC also hosts speaker events to provide information and expand understanding of Bears Ears.

The Visit with Respect (VWR) campaign provides guidance on principles and practices that protect the sensitive natural and cultural resources of Bears Ears.

All of our youth-focused educational programs - classroom based and summer camps - are developed in partnership with our Education Committee and our community partners.

We also offer special presentations for all education levels, as well as for special interest groups such as the Sierra Club, Arizona Hiking Club, and Grand Circle Tours.

The Partnership is actively working to expand our educational reach, and in the process, becoming a leader in education for the Monument.
