BEP at Southeast Utah AstroFest

BEP is delighted to be part of the Annual Southeast Utah AstroFest! This festival is an amazing opportunity to experience the stunning dark skies this region is known for, learn from astronomy presentations, and participate in family friendly activities.

Our Staff will be leading Star Parties with telescope viewing and constellation tours over two nights, as part of this festival sponsored by the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Utah Dept of Natural Resources, Friends of Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, and Canyonlands Natural History Association.

Evening programming runs 9:30-11:30pm:

• Friday, June 5 at Needles District, Canyonlands National Park Visitor Center
• Saturday, June 6 at Natural Bridges National Monument Visitor Center

Bring layers for comfort and a red light to protect your dark-adapted vision while walking safely on uneven surfaces.
