October Star Party

Join us for BEP's next Star Party with Telescope Viewing, Thursday, October 8 at 8:00 PM at Bluff Community Center (3rd East and Mulberry, Bluff Rd, Bluff, UT 84512). Bluff is an International Dark Sky Community! Hosted in partnership with Utah State Parks.

All experience levels welcome. We will provide several telescopes for you to use, and you are welcome to bring your own. BEP staff will share stargazing tips and point out celestial features. Please bring a red light and chair or blanket for sitting. Weather permitting - check back for updates.

Sky Glow Monitoring

After the Star Party, there will be an opportunity to learn about sky glow monitoring and becoming a Dark Sky Ambassador. Ambassadors help conduct seasonal sky glow monitoring as part of maintaining Bluff's designation as a Dark Sky Community. No experience necessary; BEP will provide training and materials. Learn more about Dark Sky Ambassadors on the Dark Sky Program page.

BEP is hosting monthly star parties around each New Moon, in addition to other Dark Sky programming.
