Dark Sky Week

Save the date for International Dark Sky Week in Bears Ears, April 13-20! There are so many ways to get involved, whether or not you are in the Bears Ears region, and no matter your astronomy experience. 

On April 19, "America's Astronomer" Dean Regas will virtually present "100 Things to See in the Night Sky" at the Canyon Country Discovery Center, followed by a Star Party at 9pm. MORE INFO

We will also train Dark Sky Ambassadors to conduct seasonal light pollution monitoring in Bluff, and offer more opportunities to learn about and experience dark skies. We’ll also share tips and tricks for limiting light pollution wherever you are.
