August Star Party

Enjoy the stunning stars of the Bears Ears region! Join us for BEP's next Star Party with Telescope Viewing, Thursday, August 13 at 9pm Bluff Community Center (3rd East and Mulberry, Bluff Rd, Bluff, UT 84512). Hosted in partnership with Utah State Parks.

Bluff is an International Dark Sky Community, designated in 2025 by DarkSky International.

All experience levels welcome. We will provide several telescopes for you to use, and you are welcome to bring your own. BEP staff will share stargazing tips and point out celestial features. Please bring a red light and chair or blanket for sitting. Weather permitting - check back for updates.

BEP is hosting monthly star parties around each New Moon, in addition to other Dark Sky programming.
