Sylvia Taylor on Juniper: The Human and Natural History of this Iconic Species (2)

Examples of juniper smoke, wood, berries, human made juniper products, art, literature and science will be included.

This presentation will be in-person at the Bears Ears Education Center, but also recorded for those who aren’t able to make it in person.

Registration is encouraged, but not required.

About the presenter:

Sylvia Taylor earned a Master’s in Natural Science. Along the way she was a park ranger at Trail of Tears State Park and Boulder County Open Space, taught science and chemistry, carried out fieldwork for UC Berkeley’s climate change study, and was a medical assistant for ICU doctors during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sylvia has volunteered for Wildland Restoration Volunteers and Rocky Mountain Steam Fest. Sylvia’s interests include exploring nature, ecological restoration, yoga, singing, and playing with her grandson.
