Join us for a day of stewardship on Saturday, April 27! Choose one of these four projects, in and around the monument, with different tasks.

Be sure to register through the button at the bottom of this page, and come prepared.

PROJECTS: 

  • Mule Canyon Village - Bluff, UT. Buck and rail installation. With BLM Ranger. 
  • Valley of the Gods - Bluff, UT. Remove invasive weeds from campsites and parking areas, fire ring clean up, camping mitigation. With BEP Staff.
  • Weed Wrangle - Indian Creek, UT. Remove invasive weeds from campsites and parking areas. With BLM and Access Fund Climbing Stewards.
  • Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum - Blanding, UT. Remove weeds. With State Park Staff.

Each project has a slightly different agenda – see details below.

Agenda for Bluff (Mule Canyon and Valley of the Gods): 

  • 8am - Gather at Bears Ears Education Center (567 W. Main St. Bluff, UT 84512)
  • 8:30am: Welcome
  • 9am: Head to project sites
  • 1pm: Lunch
  • 2pm: Project wrap-up

Agenda for Edge of the Cedars Museum:

  • 8am: Gather at Edge of the Cedars Museum parking lot (660 W 400 N, Blanding, UT 84511)
  • 8:30am: Welcome
  • 9am: Head to project sites
  • 1pm: Lunch
  • 2pm: Project wrap-up

Agenda for Indian Creek:

  • 9am: Gather at Creek Pasture Campground
  • 9a-12pm: Remove invasive weeds from campground and parking area
  • 12pm: Lunch
