Fall Stewardship Day
Important Update!
We are shifting the Stewardship Day format to be more centered around volunteer projects, so that we can collectively have the greatest impact possible on the community and landscape.
Volunteers will gather at the Bears Ears Education Center at 8am on Saturday, November 11, where we will provide a light breakfast. From there, volunteers will spend the day tackling stewardship projects at the BEEC, in Valley of the Gods, or out at Cottonwood Wash. Projects will wrap up around 3pm.
If you’d like to order a box-lunch from Twin Rocks Cafe, please make a selection on the registration form by Thursday, November 9th and bring payment with you to Stewardship Day.
In lieu of gathering at Twin Rocks Cafe for the Bears Ears Blowout, we will reconvene at the BEEC at 6pm for an update on the Cedar Mesa Perishables Project by members of their team! To learn more about the Cedar Mesa Perishables Project in preparation, visit: https://bearsearspartnership.org/donate-to-perishables-project. Dinner will not be provided, so please make sure to arrange a meal if you’d like.
Although the Blowout has been postponed, we are excited to announce that it has been postponed to coincide with the return of Celebrate Bears Ears (formerly Celebrate Cedar Mesa) in March! We are so excited to share more information with you in the coming months, and to gather once again for this beloved event.
We apologize any inconvenience with these changes. Registration fees will be refunded upon request. To request a refund, or if you have any questions, please contact Communications Director, Ana Siegel (
We appreciate your flexibility as Fall Stewardship Day has evolved, and hope to see you in Bluff on the 11th!
