Join BEP for day 2 of our second annual Butterfly Count! You'll learn why they are important to the landscape, and how to identify different species and how to count them.

Bring: lunch, Snack, water, hiking boots, phones/camera, binoculars, day pack.

Ricky will provide guide booklets and butterfly nets.

8:30am: Meet up at Kane Gulch Ranger Station

9am: Head to Count Location (TBD)

9am-2pm: Survey butterflies

Optional: Join Ricky on a canyon hike near springs, 9-mile roundtrip or more -- exact locations TBD.
