Bears Ears Archaeology Teacher Workshop

3rd-8th grade teachers are invited to join this free workshop, June 11-13 at Bears Ears Education Center. Discover new ways to engage students with the past through hands-on scientific inquiry and knowledge shared by Indigenous community members.

This free workshop provides a $100 stipend for 16 teachers, and award-winning educational materials aligned to standards. It includes a guided half-day field trip to select local archaeological sites, cultural presentation by a local Indigenous elder, with lunches and field trip transportation. Option to receive two graduate university credits for $46.
