Grants Program Manager
Originally from the East Coast, Taylor got her start as a folklore student at the University of Maine, where she spent her summers collecting outlaw stories from the backwoods and islands of rural Maine. In 2018, she moved to Salt Lake City to pursue an M.A. in Environmental Humanities at the University of Utah, expecting it to be a temporary stop. Instead, she fell in love with the state's public lands and decided to put down roots.
Since then, Taylor has explored Utah's cultural and ecological landscapes through administrative roles with community arts organizations, including Kimball Art Center and Utah Arts Alliance, and hands-on experiences alongside students, researchers, and land stewards at Bonderman Field Station. She is excited to join Bears Ears Partnership and lend her passion for storytelling and public lands to efforts that deepen connections to this vital place.
When not at work, Taylor is often found wandering bookstores and backcountry places in the company of her partner, friends, and a packraft named Sunflower.
