Nicole Croft comes to the Bears Ears Partnership team after serving as Executive Director for Grand Staircase Escalante Partners 2016-2019. Nicole has a MACL in Community Leadership and most recently, received an MSL in Environmental Natural Resources and Energy Law - she focused her most recent education on understanding Indigenous Law and Public Lands Law.
Over the course of her career, Nicole has worked closely with BEP and enthusiastically embraces BEP’s commitment to partnership and collaboration as key factors in the resiliency needed to protect public lands in the face of growing pressures like climate change, energy production, and recreation management.
Having recently moved from Escalante, UT to Cortez, CO, Nicole is excited to spend time in this special corner of the Colorado Plateau. Her favorite thing in the world - besides her husband and two amazing grown children, is spending time in the garden. She also loves to hike, explore the canyons of the Plateau, and dote upon her many pets!
