Molly Stack only recently settled on the Colorado Plateau with her partner Gary and their dogs. As a dual US and Italian citizen, she has lived in many amazing places but says none of them are quite as singularly special as this region of the world.
After completing her undergraduate Arts degree at Portland State University, she immediately decamped to the Republic of Ireland in 2002 where she forged her first career as a documentary filmmaker. Upon relocating to Northern Ireland in 2009, she worked primarily on BBC-funded productions and some feature films while also making content for her own busy client list. She returned to the USA in 2017 to be closer to her family.
She ventured away from content-making upon her return, opting to tailor and invest her coordination and technical skills for industries available in rural areas. From Ridgway, CO she worked in guide service management roles in Telluride, followed by recreational development management in Grand Junction before moving to Moab and jumping into healthcare Human Resources at Moab Regional Hospital for 3 years.
Molly describes joining the Bears Ears Partnership as a seminal and happy moment in her heartfelt pursuit of a meaningful career supporting conservation efforts in the Four Corners region.
