Joe Neuhof

Executive Director

Joe Neuhof has more than 22 years of experience as an nonprofit organizational leader and advocate for land and people. Prior to joining Bears Ears Partnership he served as Founding Executive Director at Forever Our Rivers Foundation, Founding Executive Director at Colorado Canyons Association, West Slope Director for Conservation Colorado, and Executive Director at MD Save Our Streams.

As a dedicated volunteer and community leader, Joe serves as co-founder and board member at  The Civil Conversations Project, with past board service that includes; Conservation Lands Foundation, Colorado Plateau Coalition, Community Impact Council, Red Rock Forests, among others. He’s been an advocate for cultural landscapes and public lands his entire career and his appointments include the Colorado SW & NW BLM Resource Advisory Councils and Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area Council.

Joe lives in Grand County Utah along the Colorado River with his dog Sadie and an unruly parcel of wild desert land.
