Davina’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion has been the driving force of her career, leading to meaningful contributions in movement-building and advocacy across rural and urban communities. As an appointed member of the Bears Ears Inter-Tribal Coalition, her deep connection to Bears Ears Partnership is rooted in a genuine commitment to advancing environmental justice, just transition principles, and community driven stewardship throughout the State of Utah. Drawing from over two decades of experience, Davina has cultivated strong relationships with Tribal Nations, conservation partners, and local communities, building a broad network and gaining invaluable insight into the unique challenges and opportunities facing the region. As the CEO of Haseya Native Initiatives, she provides culturally grounded consulting that centers Indigenous leadership, community empowerment, and landscape-scale protection. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Grand Staircase-Escalante Partners, further contributing her expertise and voice to collaborative conservation efforts across the Colorado Plateau.
