Bat Week

Save the date for BEP’s first-ever Bat Week community science initiative, October 24-31.

National Bat Week is an international, annual celebration designed to raise awareness about the need for bat conservation.

Bats are an important part of the Bears Ears landscape – and this community science initiative will provide you with an opportunity to contribute survey data that will aid conservation efforts. 

BEP will provide information about the importance of bats in the Bears Ears landscape, and prepare you for conducting your own survey in your backyard. Stay tuned for more information.
