Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain facilities to meet safety regulations
- Inspect and maintain electrical, plumbing, air conditioning and landscaping on the premises, or contract with an appropriate licensed professional
- Maintenance of BEP’s fleet of vehicles to ensure vehicles are properly maintained, functional and safe
- Hire and manage grounds maintenance
- Collaborate with team members and vendors to set safety protocols, supervise security technology, schedule routine maintenance, plan new projects, perform emergency repairs and coordinate renovations and updates.
- Hire and Manage housekeeping to complete janitorial services to keep the buildings’ interior attractive and hygienic.
- Assess the costs of maintaining workspaces, make recommendations for becomingmore efficient.
- Negotiate contracts with service providers
- Oversee the campus expansion in Bluff
Qualifications
- Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and other building systems.
- Proficiency with repair tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors and team members.
- Strong time management, organization and prioritization abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and comfortable standing or walking for long periods oftime.• Ability to walk uneven ground, climb ladders and office roofs
- Ability to work both independently and on a team with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
- Ability to operate common office equipment: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and GoogleSuites and Apple products and security systems.
Experience
- Licensed General Contractor preferred
- Minimum three years of relevant experience.
- Electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance experience is required.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the organization
- Eligible to work in the USA.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License.
